Dick Gibson and associates are working on the following Continuing Education classes to be offered via e-mail to anyone who is interested. They are designed for intelligent non-geologists who want to expand their knowledge of the earth. Please let us know if you are interested in any of these topics.
Each course will have a required textbook, and some will include audio or video tapes to accompany e-mail information. Excercises will include thought-provoking e-mail discussions (NOT tests!) and assigned explorations of various World Wide Web sites.
In addition to required texts, costs will be kept as low as possible. Tuition is to be determined but is expected to be on the order of $50-$100 per person per course, or sometimes less. A detailed syllabus of each course will be available soon. Let us know if you want to see them when they are ready.
